Our family run upholstery supplies business was created by husband-and-wife team, Mark and Tracey Laing in 2016.

Mark had been working as an upholsterer since leaving school over 40 years ago. Throughout his career he has built a reputation as one of the masters in traditional & modern techniques for re-upholstering & re-covering all types of furniture.

Tracey was juggling her career in customer services whilst running the household. Tracey was looking for a more flexible role that would allow her the freedom to spend more time with the family.  

Mark and Tracey put their heads together and Laneys Supplies was born.

Tapping into Marks experience within the industry and product knowledge, they set up shop selling various upholstery supplies on e-commerce platforms from home, for both domestic & commercial upholstery customers. Fast forward 5 years and the company has grown from strength to strength. 

Our Journey So Far.......

2016 - Laneys Supplies starts trading. 

2020 - Moved operations from home to new warehouse in Woolston, Warrington, Cheshire.

2021- Launch of new website www.laneys-supplies.co.uk

2021 – Our Daughter in Law, Natalie joins the team as Business Development Manager.
